About Us
Coach Vince started training at five years old in a Judo club in Milan, Italy, before his family immigrated to Calgary. He picked martial arts back up through wrestling at Father Lacombe High School, then Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do under Masters Chong Han and J.J. Lee, earning his Black Belt at twenty-four. In 1995 he opened Dynamic Martial Arts in a 900-square-foot office space in NE Calgary, teaching evening classes while working days as a concrete labourer. The school moved to 1,800 square feet in 1999, and today Dynamic MMA runs out of a 3,600-square-foot facility off McKnight and 12th Street, training seven days a week across traditional and modern programs — with a 4.9-star rating from 41 Google reviews to show for it.
A 900-square-foot start in 1995 is now a 3,600-square-foot school — same coach, seven days a week.
